According to Jesse Anderson on Twitter, Anthem is not causing any PS4 console to brick or overheat. He didn’t add much in the way of details, unfortunately, but I did see several other reports that after cleaning their PS4, the issue stopped. Apparently, the issues are caused by poor console treatment. Here’s Jesse Anderson’s tweet:

This gives me hope, but the recent realization by Reddit that the default gun is more powerful than a Masterwork weapon gives Bioware and Anthem yet another mountain to overcome in this launch period. Let’s hope the devs get this under control, before the game dies just as quickly as Mass Effect: Andromeda.
