Since I missed both Christmas and New Year’s this year because of work, I was finally able to get in that sweet, sweet propane time. That’s right, I hit the grill almost immediately upon getting home. I stopped by one of my local specialty meat shops and picked up some rib eyes, a filet mignon, and boudin. Got home, seasoned it up, and slapped it all on the grill.

I didn’t stop with meats though. I put some squash, bell pepper, onions, and jalapenos on there too. Because if I’m firing up the grill, I’m gonna do it right dammit.

And, or course, I didn’t forget the whiskey on the rocks. A wonderful touch, in my opinion. Happy New Year!
